Why Hillary Will Win and the Future of Capitalism, Part 4

Maslow believed that humans are motivated by basic needs. I think he was right, and these are needs that flow from how we are created. Adam was created incomplete. Companionship is therefore a basic need that God fulfilled through the creation of Eve.
And I would like to add this aside: I learn a lot from Susan’s massive book reading. One author points out that although soil is seen as representing the lowliness of creation and all things evil, it is really representative of something that produces life when it is attended to. Trees and life-giving plants come from the ground as Adam and Eve did so soil should be seen more as something that produces life and not mere dirt or for that matter representative of evil.
Now it begs the question of trust; what will man trust to be complete, and who will he trust to inform himself of such? Man, or God?
Church has ALWAYS shared two fundamental “truths” with every bloodlust tyrant who ever lived: determinism and the total inability of mankind. The tyrant calls it “destiny,” the theologian calls it “sovereignty.” The tyrant calls it “greed,” the theologian calls it “total depravity.” Either way, the equation is the same: man does not have the ability within himself to participate in the fulfillment of his needs that lead to wholeness. He cannot fulfill his own basic needs unless it is at the expense of others, and he cannot choose God for his most important needs and wellbeing. From the secular point of view, man is unable to choose government as his savior, he must me compelled, and from the theologian’s view, man is unable to choose God as his helper. And historically, both have chosen to compel man to choose correctly by force…and of course…for his own good and the saving of mankind. Yes, whether the theologian or the dictator, man must be saved from himself.
And because he is unable, he cannot consult God face to face for life’s answers, he is unable. Therefore, God, or Destiny, or the Universe, or choose another one of many, appoints mediators to fulfill the prewritten metaphysical narrative that brings glory to the god or gods claimed. Once a god is chosen, the authority of the appointed mediators is truth. All bets are off and anything goes. Do you doubt that? Look at what uber intelligent cultures have bought into over the ages.
The economics of the contrary view of man is capitalism. The opposition claims that successful capitalists, being unable, can only be successful at the expense of others while manipulating the good intentions of government unthankfully. Point in case: “You didn’t build that.” This goes back to the aforementioned definitions of capitalism and socialism in this series. America was founded by people who deemed food and water as irrelevant without liberty. This is why they were opposed to heavy taxation and taxation without representation which effectively puts people’s money in the hands of government. That’s socialism, not capitalism.
Two things fundamentally empower the people: money and knowledge. The more of your money government controls enables them to control you. The government’s ability to hijack knowledge enables them to brainwash the public according to their own gospel. And of course if they oversee your health care that is an additional issue as well.
Yes, socialism can only fool people for so long until they figure out that government has no real vested interest in self-actualizing anyone. Eventually, the populous stops long enough to look around and figure out that socialism has made them Hebrew slaves making bricks day and night without straw. Sooner or later, socialists will figure out that they cannot obtain their goals with a path of socialism because socialism simply does not work. Consequently, there is always a day of reckoning because people outnumber government officials. In the face of collective rebellion governments are powerless and without remedy unless they kill everyone which defeats the purpose of government in the first place. This is what’s behind population control in general and abortion in particular; a larger than normal populous puts government power at risk. Too many people to control; too many ideas, too much thinking going on; too many people to brainwash, and too many people to kill.
This is why socialist governments depend on limited murder to instill fear and propaganda/brainwashing for the most part, but don’t forget the benefits of religion’s role in all of this. If both government and church share the same propositions concerning mankind, and they do, and the church claims to administer eternal salvation by proxy, and they do claim that, and the church tells its parishioners to obey the government no matter what because it is ordained of God, well then, the benefits of the two being married together is apparent.
But, in this Information Age coupled with the American experience being around for more than 200 years, a socialist road will not be successful in paving the way to socialism. More than likely, socialists will use some form of capitalism to bring things to a certain point where they can ambush the masses and seize control of the world before anything can be done about it.
What makes me think this? According to Bible prophesy, the world is in a state of peace and prosperity prior to Armageddon. What comes upon the world during that time is “sudden destruction.” This sudden destruction comes upon the world when the world is saying, “peace and safety” and then “peace” is taken away from the world. You have to have something before it is taken away. Also, churches will be saying, “We are rich and have need of nothing.” Revelation also predicts the sudden destruction of a fabulous mercantile world economy. We see technology as capitalism’s brainchild, but computer technology also makes a plenary and sudden takeover of the world’s economy possible.
In spite of the fact that Hillary Clinton will probably win in November, look for capitalism to make a comeback. I believe the antichrist will be a pseudo capitalist; I believe this because socialism cannot bring the world to the point described in the Bible. I believe capitalism will be used to destroy capitalism. This has never been tried before, but it will work. If successful capitalism results in a computerized world economy, it’s a simple matter of taking over the system.
One may also note a simple truth in the book of Revelation that can be easily missed because of its simplicity: the antichrist will oversee the mother of all church-states. America eradicated the church-state worldwide because Americanism and its capitalism works and socialism doesn’t work. But, the church-state will come back with a vengeance and make up for lost time.
The socialist mega church-state of Revelation will not come about via the socialist road because of two things: the Information Age (tyranny cannot function unless it controls information), and the 200-year-plus American experience that strongly contrasts socialism. History tells us that American capitalism has survived socialist insurgency from within time and time again, and we are talking about strains of socialism that makes Hillary Clinton look tame.
Capitalism cannot be overcome by socialism at this point in history.
So, look for better times. If Hillary Clinton is elected for the aforementioned reasons her socialist agenda will not succeed. In contrast, capitalism will usher in an age of unprecedented freedom and prosperity. However, unfortunately, this prosperity will be used to exalt an individualism that dismisses God’s role in reality.
This is where the unlikely election of Donald Trump may play into this scenario or someone like Trump will challenge Hillary in the next election that doesn’t have all of Trump’s baggage. Nevertheless, Hillary is a socialist lightweight because she thinks a socialist road will lead to socialism—it will not. Only a pseudo capitalist road leading to a sudden takeover will work, and this theory best fits Bible prophecy.
But meanwhile, the hybrid version of socialism and capitalism enables a lot of free stuff while maintaining access to some measure of self-actualization. In other words, short cuts to self-esteem without working for it. People are getting their cake and eating too, and this is why Hillary will win; the Democrats are presently supplying a feasible short-cut to self-actualization. Said yet another way; they are offering free stuff and freedom both. But free stuff eventually takes away freedom and moves the scales to an intolerable balance.
The present socialism/capitalism hybrid is a contra reality built on a foundation of sand. Maslow was spot on: a truthful and favorable self-assessment is efficacious to happiness. Man will NEVER find happiness in labors that ONLY benefit something outside of him.
We are simply not created that way.

If You Go to Church You Are Guilty As Hell
One of my perspectives has changed again. It’s amazing how dialogue and writing turns on new light bulbs. Truly, for a born again Christian blogger Facebook supplies more material than one could ever write about. It’s the gift that just keeps giving.
Consider a few examples to begin my first point before I get to the Facebook exchange. CJ Mahaney is back and bigger than ever. Jim Bakker, yes, Jim Bakker is back and bigger than ever. GARB and Cedarville University are bigger than ever despite the ABWE missionary Kids scandal which by the way included not only child rape but kidnapping, and a 20-year coverup of such. The President of Cedarville University even stated publically that Christians still need salvation. John Piper states such continually. And, it’s business as usual; in fact, business is booming. After all, if salvation is a onetime personal affair, what would you need them for?
The reason is simple and something I saw in the institutional church for years before I left it: salvation can only be found in church membership and submission to its orthodoxy. This is also stated unequivocally in its founding doctrinal statements whether Protestant or Catholic.
Until today, I blamed those rascally church leaders for all of this and was forgiving of the poor misinformed, misled innocent sheep. No, the fact is, if you go to church, you are guilty as hell. You are supporting a lie, and there is no justice for the church’s victims because like the devils that gave birth to the church, churchians do not share God’s love for justice.
Full stop. No evil has ever been put down in the church by the church. Evil has always been stopped in the church by someone going outside of the church and seeking help from the secular authorities. Why? Because the infidels have more love for justice than the church. Not complicated. And what is “justice”? Justice defends life value. An “eye for an eye” is not about revenge, it’s about defending life. See it for yourself in the founding doctrinal statements of the church: life is evil and must be continually crucified. Church isn’t about a one-time death that brings forth a never ending Spring and fountain of life, it is about dwelling in death. That’s stated church orthodoxy. And moreover, dwelling in death is the stated gateway to joy. It’s a formal church doctrine known as Mortification and Vivification. It’s a stated orthodoxy of death. It’s about death…that’s church…period.
Hence, victims are relegated to the basement closets because what does one expect in a temple of death but death itself? What we have today is parishioners leaving one Protestant temple for lesser death in another Protestant temple where the same logic has not yet fully played itself out. Therefore, at least for the time being, one is in a “more loving church” where sinful elders sin less, but hark, we must remember that there is no perfect church and we are all just sinners saved by grace. Amen, but nevertheless, you support the system and you are guilty as hell—you are no less a “Good German” of Nazism fame.
Don’t blame it on Calvinism; don’t blame it on “Reformed theology.” Church is Reformed theology; church is Calvinism. Calvinism isn’t the problem; church is the problem. Predestination is not the core issue; the exact same soteriology is the issue. A different application of the same evil does not make the evil unevil.
So before I copy and paste the Facebook dialogue that led to this post, what’s the answer? That’s not complicated either. God’s people must start functioning like the family they are rather than an institution that dispenses ongoing salvation in return for a temple tax. The whole system must be rejected for the sake of God’s love. In other words, for the first time in your life, read the book of Acts with your own mind and simply let the words say what they say, not what some man with six bogus titles after his name says they say. Words mean things.
But if you do nothing else, stop supporting church. Stop being guilty as hell.
Begin dialogue.
Paul, my freedom in Christ is a soul issue. Man has tried insisting on speaking for Him since the beginning. You make good valid points, but no one has the power to steal what He gives. And no rulers, church or state, will ever be on the truly right side where He is!
Not sure what you are saying. Are you saying that no one is perfect so all bets are off?
Not sure what you are saying! I am His child Paul. I have a peace and joy that cannot be stolen. It is a simple statement.
24/7 uninterrupted peace and joy. Wow, that’s pretty impressive.
Paul, I honestly do not know where you are coming from. But I learned as a teenager that an awful lot of life is going to be out of my control. The foundation He gives is not. I sense a deep sarcasm in you and for that I am sad. I have no doubt you have been scalded by something. Me too. But one thing I do know— this kind of conversation is not productive. You are looking for discord and you are not going to get it from me. I simply know that at the end of any day, no matter how bad, God. Loves. me., and one day I am going home. And yes, I find great joy in that.
I will not comment on “where I am coming from” in this stream because my initial comments are gone. But I will comment on what I think bothers me about you overall. You are a typical parishioner who parrots institutional church talking points flavored with supposed humble godliness. Point in case: “no one has the power to steal what He gives.” Oh really? The church hasn’t stolen the innocence of many young children over the years? And yes, this is the exact rhetoric we hear from churchians when someone wants to hold the church accountable.
No, you don’t yell at them and attack them verbally which you have decried in your post, you feed them pious sounding institutional church talking points and tell them to “move on with life” and,…here it is,…don’t miss it…”no church is perfect” so in essence, yes, all bets are off. You represent mainline evangelicalism that has not held itself accountable for a litany of contemporary atrocities. When it is all said and done after ABWE, SGM, to name a meager few, it is business as usual. Yes, look around, totally business as usual.
And why is this? Well, the hypocrisy is endless. While claiming trust in JESUS ALONE the real trust is in the institutional church and that is exactly why the church always survives its scandals; the congregants are its supporters and enablers. They hide behind “bad churches and good churches,” “high controlling churches versus churches that aren’t like that,” and “no mere church can take away what Jesus has given,” and the ever-handy “cult” nomenclature while deep in their hearts they know it is the system that is the problem.
Hence, while giving tacit agreement to my original comment you sensed a slight offense against the institution that you trust for your salvation and lobbed the usual pious sounding talking points at me which by the way is sugar-coated condescension. But before I get to that, let me highlight the usual speaking for God and defining Him according to man’s tradition which always makes God the creator of evil. Since nobody can take away what Jesus has given, any parishioner who feels like the church has taken away something originally given by God; you know, like a marriage or virginity, only have themselves to blame for being unspiritual.
This is victim blaming and makes God appear as an advocate for evil to the unregenerate. Again, victim blaming in order to protect the church is a result of where the real trust for salvation is placed—the institutional church. And hark, it just so happens that church orthodoxy states that exactly in its founding doctrinal statements.
Now, while you decry those who personally attack people who expose selective evil, you are somehow pious because you didn’t call me names, but rather made statements about me that result in logical conclusions demanding numerous unflattering labels. This is typical and reveals the true arrogance of those sold out to the institutional church. Note that you were more knowledgeable about life than me by the time you were a teenager. Well, aren’t you special? Note that my pathetic mindset is so pathetic that it can’t even warrant anger but only pity. My mindset, therefore, makes you “sad.” Such a loving soul you are. And lastly, I have nothing to bring to the table in any discussion about life because my only motive is to “look(ing) for discord.”
And what about my “sarcasm”? Let me help you with that. It’s a survival mechanism for dealing with putrid hyper-hypocrisy that blames my Father for evil and in reality lifts up misfits like John Piper above God. And by the way, try reading your Bible for yourself and you will find that sarcasm was a communication tool used by Jesus and Paul often. There is something else I can mention as well though this could be a book; joy results in knowing that God loves you no matter how “bad” you are. Yep, that’s the Cross Chart.

That’s the good old-fashioned orthodoxy that you trust and will protect and enable at any cost because it’s what you truly trust for your salvation. In essence, the antithesis of love because it rejoices in evil. The depth of your badness results in joy because of God’s grace. In reality, that’s just a really bad idea.
Now, let me share the joy of having my own blog. You will certainly delete this dialogue as perhaps you did the other because it slighted the institutional church that you trust for your salvation, but this nevertheless will make a great post for the blog today.
Wow, just wow……for the life of me I can’t understand how in the world my friend deserves the attack you have just made on her. The reason she and I both friended you was because we saw your posts on Calvinism. She and I have both been hurt by the “reformed” and from different churches. We were really interested in your take on it. I had no idea the anger you hold toward those who don’t agree with you. For some reason, it seems you want to just argue. I see an unfollow in sight. I’m so sorry you feel the need to attack with your pride of intellect. Just so sad.
You just furthered my point entirely. Calvinism is church. Reformed is church. You can’t separate the two. Actually, I could make a good living defending the “church” against “Calvinism” and actually passed on an opportunity to do so. Calvinism isn’t the problem, church is the problem. Christ’s body is a family and not an authoritative institution. When I first published “The Truth About New Calvinism” I was quickly becoming the darling of the anti-Reformed crowd until I realized that the anti-Reformed crowd is Reformed. And, my willingness to proclaim the truth with a few encouragers results in the following label: “angry.” Yes, I am an “angry man.” LOL! I wear that as a badge of honor.
And by the way, does this make me the same kind of angry guy that she praises in her initial post? Uh, I lost my wife too because of a church but no other church would come to my defense. Sooooo, please help me be the good kind of angry that you think so much of.
..and no other church came to my defense nor the guy she praises; why? Because where would people get their salvation if the institution was held accountable? That’s why. You can’t have it both ways.
End relevant dialogue.
So there you have it folks; it is alright to be angry against “bad” churches, but not the system itself though predicated on false justification with a perpetual death application that supposedly brings joy. You may think I was somewhat harsh with these ladies, but this is not an issue that will come to light by tiptoeing around; anything but directness in regard to this subject will be taken and heard the way one prefers to hear it. Unfortunately, in regard to this particular subject rooted deep in tradition, you know that you have made your point if people are offended. And…
…it also reveals what they really hold dear in the face of truth, an institution.

New friends and old ones.
Comment from “John”:
“Well, I hope there is going to be a post-recording link/clip available.
This site has crept into my heart for many reasons: It promotes people to think for themselves, there are Andy’s intellectual yet perspicuous articles, and there are Paul’s unexpected angles. But, the biblical truth is found here too, in abundance; and the love for those who are lost is most obvious. And Jesus Christ is glorified, and that’s the clincher for me. And the true, uncomplicated, biblical gospel is presented all the time.
And I wonder how many people actually know the purpose of The Potter’s House. I was touched when I found out.
I always thought I was the only one in this universe (parallel or otherwise) who was not able to fit into the institutionalized church and all its diabolical traps; so, great was my joy when I stumbled across PPT and found there were others too. And not just that, but others who actually helped people escape the man-made shackles of “church” while encouraging one to be part of the body of Christ in a way that we are supposed to be.
I expect a signed copy of the “Institutes of the Christian Religion” by Calvin (peace be upon him) for my little comment. Or a bang on the ear.”

It’s a box, not a boat. A look at Ken Ham’s ark.
The ark was a huge floating box…period. So, is it any big deal if it is presented as an elaborate boat contrary to Scripture? What’s the big deal?

In the first place, the analogy with the Seven Wonders does not hold. Only one, the Great Pyramid of Cheops, comes within two thousand years of Noah’s day, and it is really the only one whose construction could conceivably approach the level of sophistication of the ark. But the Great Pyramid did not spring de novo from the desert sands; rather, it was the culmination of over a century of architectural evolution, beginning when the “experimenting genius,” Imhotep, inspired by the ziggurats of Babylon, built the Step Pyramid around 2680 BC, passing through some intermediate step pyramids to the Bent Pyramid of Snofru, then the first true pyramid, and finally the masterpiece at Cheop (Stewart, pp. 35-39).
On the other hand, in an era when hollowed-out logs and reed rafts were the extent of marine transport, a vessel so massive appeared that the likes of it would not be seen again until the mid-nineteenth century AD. Before he could even contemplate such a project, Noah would have needed a thorough education in naval architecture and in fields that would not arise for thousands of years such as physics, calculus, mechanics, and structural analysis. There was no shipbuilding tradition behind him, no experienced craftspeople to offer advice. Where did he learn the framing procedure for such a Brobdingnagian structure? How could he anticipate the effects of roll, pitch, yaw, and slamming in a rough sea? How did he solve the differential equations for bending moment, torque, and shear stress?
Ancient shipbuilding did achieve a considerable level of technological sophistication, so much so that marine archaeologists are divided over its history (Basch, p. 52). But this was for vessels that were dinghies compared to the ark, and this skill emerged slowly over many centuries: nearly a millennium passed while Egyptian boat lengths increase from 150 to 200 feet (Casson, p. 17). Despite this, the craft remained a prescientific art, acquired through long years of apprenticeship and experience, and disasters at sea due to faulty design were so persistent that the impetus was strong for a more scientific approach (Rawson and Tupper, p. 2). Obviously, the astronomical leap in size, safety, and skill required by Noah is far too vast for any naturalistic explanation.

Why Hillary Will Win and the Future of Capitalism, Part 3

“State welfare’s wage of death is always determined by the degree of the public’s lost dignity and self-confidence…State funded self-actuation is a temporary deception and the Pied Piper of tyranny.”
In parts one and two we looked at what drives people according to their basic needs and the relationship of such to politics. The thesis is deliberately simplistic: even though most Americans do not realize it or ponder it, they will seek to have their basic needs met through methods that either trust government or self. It all boils down to the basic ability of mankind in general and the individual in particular. This is the ability/inability of man question.
Socialism depends on the state to rule over the affairs of men and the sole purpose of one’s existence is to support the state. Capitalism, uniquely American, depends on the individual resulting in the self-actualization of man. In capitalism, the government’s sole purpose is to facilitate man’s freedom to obtain the upper strata of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. It is a government BY the people and FOR the people. These are the economic applications for questions concerning the true wellbeing of man.
We looked at how this plays out in some contemporary examples. ISIS has no chance of ever bringing America down through terror, so socialists are not going to invest large sums of state money to protect individuals or satisfy justice. Protecting against terror puts emphasis on individual lives and not the state. Hence, the relaxed attitude towards border security etc. Little is more obvious; Democrats are willing to sacrifice a small percentage of people to increase their voting block because their goal is to save America from itself. Said another way, like all of the socialists before them they seek to save mankind from itself. One’s self-actualization is defined by contribution to the group overseen by the state.
“Justice” is a process that defends the sanctity of life. It punishes all acts that disrespect life. This is why justice will always be lacking where individual life is devalued except for its contribution to the state. Therefore, acts against the state will bring swift judgment while crimes against individuals will be all but relegated to the basement closet. Is this not what we see constantly in socialist countries and in America under the Obama administration?
To many in America, socialism seems “stupid” because few understand the logic that drives it. At any rate, Donald Trump is a voice for those who are frustrated by what seems to be illogical, but socialism is NOT illogical, it possesses a logic that drives it. And, the logic addresses the ability/inability of man question.
Is there enough frustration to elect Trump? I doubt it, at least not yet. But that would be quite amazing given the centuries of re-education by socialists since the American Revolution. Regardless of socialists being in total control of education and the media from the beginning, a little less than half of the American people still get it and possess the spirit of Americanism.* In my mind there is only one way this is possible: mankind is wired for freedom and freewill. America is a result of men finally discovering that God creates truth within man that is “self-evident.” God created man with certain laws written on his heart and administered by the human conscience. This is what the framers of the American Constitution hit upon.
Ironically, the Puritans who transported European socialism to the new land are seen as the principle proponents of Americanism and nothing could be further from the truth. The American Revolution was all but a direct pushback against Puritanism. However, America has always been a hybrid of European presuppositions concerning mankind and true Americanism predicated on man’s God-given abilities.
Until America, and from the beginning, religion and state tyranny have always been codependent colaborers in warfare against man’s freedom and his ability. Instead of man being free to choose the God of his conscience, the state has always claimed to own truth according to the religion it’s married to. This mode of operation has dominated world history since the day God closed the Garden of Eden. This is the cardinal principle of Americanism’s separation of church and state. NO, in fact, a devout Christian as President of the United States would NOT necessarily be a good thing. This world kingdom functions best when it is free because that is how God created man. Americanism has proven that this is our best life now until Christ establishes the kingdom of heaven on earth and rules from David’s throne in Jerusalem. Less econocide,** genocide, and democide, and more justice that upholds life is a good thing until the best comes to bear.
If socialism tips the balances of American power completely in its favor, those deceived by the present allowance of pseudo self-actualization will be awakened to a crude reality—they will no longer have their cake and the ability to eat it also. As socialism weaves its deceptive web, it will allow its unwitting advocates to be taken care of in exchange for dignity while playing in the backyard sandbox of freedom. They will awaken to the sandbox being taken away and replaced with all self-actuation being defined by the complete eradication of self for the state’s purposes. This is the age-old tyranny that has always defined world history. The pleasures and freedoms they experience while on the state’s dole will rudely disappear. State funded self-actuation is a temporary deception and the Pied Piper of tyranny.***
Accordingly, as the American institutional church moves back to its Puritan roots via the New Calvinist movement, the confused evangelical capitalists of our day will continue to dwindle. Consequently, you will see a marked increase of anti-Americanism and lack of justice in the church. The rhetoric you will hear is the bemoaning of America-worship versus Jesus-worship, and “man worship versus God worship” proven by a penchant for justice, etc., etc., etc. In fact, this kind of rhetoric is now commonplace in American pulpits.
So, overall, how will the war between capitalism and socialism play out in the future? This will be the subject of our fourth and final part.
paul
*State welfare’s wage of death is always determined by the degree of the public’s lost dignity and self-confidence.
**The economy is no less a weapon against the people than weapons of warfare that take life. Historically, socialism has always used famine to execute suspected capitalists.
***The founders of Americanism deemed Maslow’s lower strata of food and water irrelevant without the freedom to pursue self-actualization.
