Paul's Passing Thoughts

Congressman Jim Jordan and the Freedom Wars

Yes, you can boil all reality down to sin versus holiness. Obviously, the theme of good and evil overshadows all reality. But the close second is freedom versus slavery. Freedom versus tyranny. Freedom versus despotism. Even the Bible frames sin according to freedom versus slavery; that is, freedom from sin versus being enslaved to sin. And it is the “truth” that sets us free according to the Bible.

The problem with politics follows: it usually deals with bantering about symptoms and not the core issue. Is man capable of self-rule? Is the purpose of government for securing the right of the individual to be free? Or is government for the purpose of protecting man from himself? Is the sole value of a person determined by their ability to contribute to the mother-state? Is it efficacious to humanity that as many citizens as possible support the state for humanity’s survival?

The people of the world fall into one of these two  philosophies, and these two philosophies are at war with each other. Listen to people carefully when they talk and you will hear one of these two philosophies emerge from their mindset. During a popular evening talk show before the previous presidential election, a popular comedian stated,

To me, it’s really exciting to have the first mother in the White House. It’s not about the first woman, it’s about the first mom. Because a mother just does it. She feeds you and teaches you, protects you. She takes care of sh*t… We need just a tough b*tch mother who nobody likes and who just does sh*t.

As the adage states, good humor is funny because there is some truth in it. The cited statement is the crass example of Mark Twain’s version: “Humor is the good natured side of a truth.” Gee, think about it gang, doesn’t it make perfect since to have someone with mothering instincts leading the country? Right, if people remain as children. Also along these same lines concerning government as parent and the people as the children, according to an interview with Michelle Obama,

The Obama administration “was like having the ‘good parent’ at home,” the former first lady said. “The responsible parent, the one who told you to eat your carrots and go to bed on time.”

“And now we have the other parent,” Obama added. “We thought it’d feel fun — maybe it feels fun for now because we can eat candy all day and stay up late and not follow the rules.”

In essence, Obama reiterated the problem with forms of government that allow the children to run the household. What will happen? Civilization will go to hell in a handbasket. Her husband framed it in other ways; Americans are dumb hicks who cling to their guns and Bibles, and only think they build stuff on their own apart from the government.

That’s the war we see playing out in today’s politics. Yes, it’s that simple. Those who believe that mankind doesn’t need a mother are a threat to the very existence of mankind and want to prevent mom from feeding the poor and taking care of old people.

Until now, Republicans have been half pregnant with one and half pregnant with the other leading to some pretty tame political warfare, but Donald Trump is a purist regarding individualism. Therefore, Katy bar the door because it is going to get real ugly.

Once upon a time, there were some folks at the FBI that were from the mothering point of view. Because the great unwashed children don’t know what’s best for humanity and just want to eat candy and go to bed when they want to, they decided to launch an underground coup d’état against the will of the children. And where could one of these agents “smell the Trump support”? At Walmart where dumb hicks and the lowbred shop.

Representative Jim Jordan is entangled in the war because he is on the frontlines of exposing what the FBI tried to do, and are arrogantly moving forward with the scheme regardless of the latest revelations thanks to Jordan and others. I thought it would be interesting to discuss the ruse they are using to try to destroy him.

The discussion will start with my own experience as a young person involved in sports. While I was in high school and my first year of college, I was heavily involved in weight training/weightlifting.  My training partner and I had a membership at Vic Tanny’s. There was some guy who was a member there that was obviously gay and came on to other guys in the locker room. It was nothing overt for the most part, rather subtle, but there was a lot of locker-room banter about the guy. Actually, the guy came on to me one time in front of several others in the locker-room and it really wasn’t all that subtle, but no one took it seriously because it was common knowledge that if the guy tried anything he would end up in traction. Even in the 70’s, expelling a guy like him from membership was just something you didn’t do.

Now, let’s say he did take his behavior to a criminal level of some sort, and I was unaware of it. Does that make me complicit in some sort of criminal abuse coverup? Hardly. Secondly, by the way, when I was involved in high school sports in the 70s I do remember that there was an administrative fixation with hernias. This was also the brunt of locker-room banter that labeled it some sort of weird infatuation on the part of the doctor or doctors. I remember it being dubbed, “showtime” by the silly adolescents that we were.

Also, when I was in high school, it was common knowledge that the girl’s gym teacher was a lesbian. That was the topic of a whole bunch of talk flowing from youthful indiscretion. No one in those days came out of the closet, but the lady didn’t try to hide it either. Everybody knew, but it couldn’t be proven; even if it was provable, it wouldn’t have been grounds for dismissal. Let’s say she did something criminal on school premises back in the 70s and it was outed by a victim in our day? Does that make everyone aware of the banter concerning her at the time complicate in a criminal coverup? Hardly.

I strongly suspect that the left is trying to apply this same reality to Jordan in order to ruin his life and neutralize him in his efforts to expose the so-called “deep state.” And trust me, they are angling for actual criminal charges. Remember Joe Paterno? I understand Paterno was privy to an actual rape act, but the information was secondhand and he reported it to his superiors. In other words, he didn’t actually witness it himself, but because he didn’t go to the police himself, he was well on his way to being indicted before he died.

This is what they have in store for Jordan because he believes we aren’t children in need of a nanny state. Man will always have to fight to remain free because in this sinful world freedom has a price and always will,

and sooner than later the price is blood.

Part 10 Conclusion

Posted in Uncategorized by Paul M. Dohse Sr. on July 7, 2018

Updated CoverTruly, the Spirit has not left us without the knowledge needed to return God’s children to the ekklesia. While the framework is evident, what this can, and will eventually look like in our day is anyone’s guess, but this we know: the Spirit ONLY uses TRUTH to sanctify (John 17:17). We the authors invite you on this journey in using the law of God lawfully, that is, in the way of love. And with the apostle Paul, we bow our knees to the Father that…

“according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

This is in contrast to the church prayer that we would know the depths of our supposed condemnation for God’s glory and thereby recognizing the size of chasm between us and our father illustrated by a bigger cross.

The church prayer is not our prayer because we have not received the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear because fear has to do with judgment and not the way of love and its power following.

The way of the ekklesia is aggressive love without fear of condemnation. We do not partake in fearful introspection because there is no law to condemn us. Our love for the law is aggressive and unfettered. The old us is dead, and even if the church digs up our dead corpse and drags it into court or their delusional sessions, the judge has no law; our beloved Brother nailed it to the cross and therefore…

…our allegiance is to Him, the ONLY head of the body which is resurrected with Him, and the one who has been given ALL authority. We will believe on Him alone and not men; we will focus our lives together towards the day we stand before Him for our reward. We long to hear, “Well done faithful servant.”

So help us God.

Church is an institution because…

Posted in Uncategorized by Paul M. Dohse Sr. on July 5, 2018

Updated CoverChurch is an institution because it was founded in a church-state and for the express purpose of a church-state. As we have seen, with the departing of the two foremost apostles, Paul and Peter, notable leaders and disciples of the apostles began calling for a central religious authority to succeed the authority of the apostles. But, the apostles never operated by authority to begin with, and for that matter, nether did Christ. All these ministries were marked by leadership and skilled persuasion, not authority. Why? God’s kingdom is not presently on earth; when it does come, indeed, God will rule the nations with a “rod of iron.” Right now, we are merely ambassadors pointing to God’s future kingdom and the hope thereof.

We “do church” the way we do because it was born out of the world’s caste system and authority-lust that is the essence of sin. The Church Fathers sought a central church based in Rome because that was the epicenter of world power during that time. They chose one disciple to succeed the apostles and rule over the massive home fellowship network that existed during that time. This could well be the beginning of what the apostle Paul referred to as the great “falling away.”

Meanwhile, they sought to replace the existing pagan-state with the church-state. Those who hijacked the ekklesia were hellbent on replacing the pagan-state as Rome’s new lover in order to have their orthodoxy enforced by the state. It took their constant meddling in state affairs and treachery some 300 years to replace the pagan-state with the church-state beginning with Constantine. The Church Fathers had been integrating paganism into Christianity’s idenity for some time, and the model still practiced in church today was solidified during the time of Constantine and was modeled after pagan temple worship. This is by no means obscure history, and “church history” is truly just that and not the history of God’s ekklesia.

In contrast, any true history concerning the ekklesia is VERY obscure by the church’s design. No doubt, this is why the history of the early ekklesia is in the Bible and stands as the only real history we have of it. Furthermore, we are therefore not left without a true identity and mode of operation.

What evolved from the hijacking of the ekklesia was the Catholic Church which was the epitome of a church-state and sought unfettered world domination. Church history is a story of political intrigue and slaughter unparalleled in human history. Eventually, some within the Church thought they could do church-state better resulting in the Protestant Reformation. The idea that theological differences spawned the Reformation is an absurd myth as theologians in the Church saw Scripture through a Platonist caste system. Early church documents show clearly that the contention was spawned by differences in opinion regarding social engineering for purposes of controlling the great unwashed, not some romantic defense of the Bible. Again, it must be said that such a notion is patently absurd.

Furthermore, within the Protestant Reformation, the Puritans thought they could do church-state even better and sailed for America to create a Calvinist theocratic utopia. Hence, the first Bible to arrive on American shores was the Geneva Bible, a Calvinist commentary on the Bible. But at any rate, it escapes one to ponder the zeal behind duplicating Geneva which was already unraveling due to its despotism.

Authority has never brought about unity. And though a tacit node towards individualism created a shining city on a hill called America, the book of Revelation makes it clear that mankind will return to the authority myth and create the most monstrous church-state of all time.

Thank God this is not our kingdom. Thank God we are presently free to recover the ekklesia.

Paul and Susan

At this year’s 2018 Southern Baptist Convention the president of its flagship seminary, Al Mohler, proclaimed publicly that the SBC has returned to its historic roots by becoming “confessional.” If you know what this means, it is a stunning public confession for starters, and the fact that Mohler would brag about it is even more stunning.

Join us this Sunday as we discuss how the country’s largest denomination represents the church lie, and a very important invitation to our readers to become involved in a new project.
