God can make me do it, but why would he? To force me is to take “me” out of the equation. And why would God insert a middle man? That is, why do things “through” me that he can do himself?
This is why it’s relationship, not authority. And why I reject the determinist psychobabble of fake churches preaching fake Jesus by fake leaders doing fake jobs.
