Paul's Passing Thoughts 
Discernment bloggers (those in the enemy’s camp especially) believe it’s their “talent” and/or “gift” to try to save the church and warn against those who cause dissension in the “body of Christ, the bride, blah blah.” But they are rather pathetic. They would come down like a ton of potato chips on a guy like Osteen but defend a devil, deceiver, and murderer like Calvin, for example. Some openly worship MacArthur.
And in a sadistic twist, many discernment bloggers are women (that’s not the twist) who first need to get “permission” to blog (this is the sadistic twist). That’s how the enemy AKA Satan AKA the Devil AKA Dead Dog’s Breath operates and rolls.
You say “arrogant scholars.” That’s very precise. I’d add “foolish” and “peddlers of a false gospel” too.
And, as always, “evil.”
