Your Pastor’s Meme
Andy stumbled upon this meme some time ago and thought it was “scary.” My response is more toward finding humor in the stupidity of it. Yet, when it gets right down to it, this is the mentality of most church pastors or elders. When you raise a theological issue with them, you can see the resentment on their faces. I suppose something else makes this meme special coming from these elitist control freaks; the misuse of the word, “then.”

I’m also more than a little appalled at the suggestion that the ‘Word of God’ was given to us by institutions and men. Maybe they should call it the Word of The Church, since they believe it is theirs to ‘give’ and to interpret?
