Calvinism’s Senseless Babblings
“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.”
~ 1 Timothy 1:5-7
Haha! My former Calvinist friend (and every Calvinist I’ve ever known, including those from the entire Protestant spectrum, which includes Reformed Whatever, and, and, and…) had so many books from philosophers, modern-day atheists, witches, and up to devils like MacArthur, Sproul, and James White that she had to implement the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) to keep track of all the pointless books she possessed. I’m sure she had a secret drawer of library cards too (maybe not).
The ironic thing? She did not know the Lord Jesus Christ; she was not born-again (she denied the New Birth), but boy, could she defend the murderer and devil Calvin! Hence “former” friend. And she worshiped the devil that smiles as he lies . . . MacArthur. Oops, two different gospels and the one book hat counts has something to say about a false gospel.
