Apart From the Law

But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify (Romans 3:21).

Roman 3:19 – Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; 20 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. because the law brings wrath.

And where there is no law there is no transgression Romans (4:15).

To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law (Romans 5:13).

Romans 7:6 – But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter. 7 What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “YOU SHALL NOT COVET.” 8 But sin, taking opportunity through the commandment, produced in me coveting of every kind; for apart from the Law sin is dead.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes (Romans 10:4).

We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, (1Timothy 1:9).

For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God (Galatians 2:19) [see Romans 8:2].

having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross (Colossians 2:14) [see also John 1:9].

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law (1Corintians 15:56).

Galatians 3:21-Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. 22 But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. 23 Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. 26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Yip; the show is gonna be the highlight of my day when I post-listen to it (time differences). Is it that obvious that I need a girlfriend? But where to find one who believes what we do? Everyone is into progressive justification, the magical mystery seeker tour jobs, or agnostic/atheists. Honestly, the latter one is the best option by far. I think I’ve just swallowed a tractor, laughing.

    Great, great show!

Yes, Randy is a double double speaker speaker and a typical, pretentious Calvinist deceiver and liar, just like the rest of them; in fact, every single one of them. Yawn, yawn, yawn. I’ve had more than enough of him and his pompous whatever.

I am impressed with you and Susan and you’re great counterpoints and biblical explanations and general explanations. What you must know (have known for a long time) is that Calvinists worship the apostle Paul too. Be sure of that. They are, after all, man-worshippers. They quote Paul more than anyone else too, including the carpenter who walked on water and who created everything, but never mind…Paul is the man, especially when they rape his words out of context and meaning.

Oh, and I’ve spotted the Christmas Tree. You’re going to hell, you pagan worshippers. Sorry, I just wanted to know what it feels like saying that. Cool tree.

(It would be great if we could be able to somehow hear the callers’ voices. I could figure out by your answers what the caller asked/said, but it would be great to hear them live. I understand it’s something new and will be sorted out).

Where was our favorite cat tonight? Felines usually love Christmas Trees, don’t they? As much as I love air in my vehicle’s tires, especially when I’m 500 miles away from home. Oops, that’s a song.

This is how far away Calvinists/Reformed Sheep/Protestants are away from the nearest place, which when they reach it, will turn out to be another fake destination. What? Am I being too harsh? No.
