And next week, come again and drop it at the altar like it’s hot, and then during cell group time on Wednesday (or so), bring them sins and drop ’em again like they’re hot, and then next Sunday, come again and drop it like it’s hot. And, somewhere, between all the dropping, I truly hope you find the time to physically rest, live, and to realize that those sins were addressed and taken care of by the Lamb (Jesus) who takes away the sins of the world), some 2000 years ago, and that the New Birth (being born-again) WILL set you free from all this dropping-it-like-it’s-hot Protestant nonsense. And then you will have peace of mind and will actually enjoy being a born-again Christian.

Paul, your reply in the thread was good; the poor lady above you loved the Twitter entry because it “gets attention and that’s the intention.” Who is getting the attention, I wonder?

Apparently Jesus was not aware that man was metaphysically evil and that because of his total depravity, sinning no more was an existential impossibility. Perhaps we need a new Bible translation that omits that verse, because clearly that pesky scripture just doesn’t fit in with the current orthodoxy.
