I gave you the short answer because the longer answer got lost somewhere.
Obedience is obedience. What has changed is the covenant. The temporary, conditional, nationalistic covenant with Israel has been fulfilled and superseded by a new covenant. Christ’s law of the new covenant is the supreme expression of God’s universal law.

Randy,
Not only does Jere 31:31 ff. TOTALLY contradict what you state above, it shows clearly that no NCT hack can interpret the Scriptures grammatically and come to that conclusion. If anyone here will just read Jere 31:31 ff in light of what you state–you should be done here. The contradiction is just too extreme, but like I said, this makes Argo’s point completely.
Of course I believe we can please God as our Father by obedience. If you are asking whether our obedience can ever rise to the level of justifying righteousness, of course not.

“The temporary, conditional, nationalistic covenant with Israel has been fulfilled and superseded by a new covenant.” So Randy, is the word “superseded” “distinct but never separate” from “fulfillment.” Randy, are you stupid, or do you think we are stupid? It’s obviously one or the other, which is it?

“You can’t find a single post either here or on my blog where I have stated that authority resides in ” a spiritual hierarchy.” Randy
Well, duh. Authority resides in hierarchy. Can you have a ladder without rungs? Who are you trying to fool?”
Hee Hee. This reminds me of their “separate but equal” Jim Crow type teaching in comp/pat doctrine. It goes like this: Equal in essence but different roles. But then their is hierarchy in the roles!
It is like talking to an Orwellian at the Ministry of Truth. Some animals are more equal than others.

“You are so pathetic. How low do you have to stoop to make such an accusation?”
Actually, there is proof of horrible anti Semitism in the history of the Reformation. It is indicative of the belief system. While you might not practice it today it is part and parcel of where your determinist doctrine comes from. It should be another indicator of why those beliefs are false. But gurus just keep on tweaking the lies about God and man to make them more palatable to the current culture. And that is another reason why descendants of the Reformation practiced slavery.

We are not justified by the law Randy–it is not the standard for justification.

Of course you won’t. The truth might confuse you.

Sorry Randy, but Amillennialism = Antisemitism. That’s just plain history and fact.

And let me recommend “Future Israel” by Barry E. Horner who well documents the history of Supersessionism.

I don’t believe in supersessionism. I believe in fulfillment theology.

Right, bad choice of words–you should have called him an Anti-Semite instead.
