How did I know that.

You knew that because…he’s earned this spot. Congratulations on being aware.

If you’re list were true I’d put Keller #2 only because you did and Paul Dohse #1.

I think you need you learn what a heretic is. John Piper and Tim Keller are not heretics. Please give me proof that they are.

Sorry Nancy, not here to waste my time persuading Kool-Aid drinkers. Feel free to browse the massive data posted on this blog that would answer any thinking person’s questions. But I am not here to think for you.

Wow what an utterly rude and unchristlike response. You ought to be ashamed of yourself!!! Calling yourself a Christian when you INSULT someone you have never met before. You obviously have no grace, mercy, kindness, gentleness, peace, self-control or any of the fruits of the spirit in your character and heart. Look it up, it’s Galations 5:22.
These people who you have called heretics, I have witnessed them in discussion and question and answer periods were someone disagreed with them and in NO WAY did they response the way you just did. They talked to them with gentle discernment and rebuke. Learn it. Google it.
If I wasn’t a thinking person I wouldn’t be challenging you. If I was just a “Kool-Aid” drinker I would have responded with a ‘Good Post! Here is the thing about thinking people who are challenged; they like it. They know that when someone challenges them, it is where they can improve, see their shortcomings, see something they overlooked or never even noticed.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. – Proverbs 27:1
A verse you obviously haven’t taken to heart.
You seriously need to look at your online manners. As someone who studies, works in social media and has their own theology blog, your response would have gotten you fired!
The worst thing for a Christian to be called is someone with no fruits of the spirit. Why? Because Christ isn’t in their hearts. Meaning if there isn’t evidence, than as CS Lewis puts it:
“If conversion to Christianity makes no improvement in a man’s outward actions – if he continues to be just a snobbish or spiteful or envious or ambitious as he was before – then I think we must suspect that his ‘conversion’ was largely imaginary”
CS Lewis goes on to say that:
“When we Christians behave badly, or fail to behave well, we are making Christianity unbelievable to the outside world. The war-time posters told us that Careless Talk costs Lives. It is equally true that Careless Lives cost Talk. Our careless lives set the outer world taking; and we give them grounds for talking in a way that throws doubt on the truth of Christianity itself.”
One more thing, I asked 2 seminary students and 3 pastors what they thought of your list of heretics and they said ‘That is crazy’.
For your sake I hope your respond to people who take the time of out of their busy lives to respond to you with a lot more grace, humbleness, gentleness and self-control.
God bless.

Charlie,
They have led no one to Christ with the false gospel of progressive justification. You don’t know what you are talking about–you are clueless.

They all fall within Christian tradition. I don’t agree with them on many issues but they could all affirm the Historic doctrines of the church as found in the early creeds. Unless you wish to go beyond the measures of the early church than it would seem unwise to label them Heretics. It seems you have completely neglected the way of adiaphora and ecumenism.

Ya John, I totally reject the traditions of men. Be sure of it.

I don’t understand how John Piper can be #3, and Joel Osteen is no where to be found…

That’s fairly easy to answer: I consider Piper far more heretical than Osteen.
