Protestant scholars routinely refer to salvation as an “atonement.” Therefore, unwittingly, they are openly proclaiming justification by faith as justification by the law. Protestantism, in fact, is the very same type of salvation doctrine that the apostle Paul spent his whole ministry contending against.
