Right, because if an unchanged person is doing the work, it is works salvation, which a denial of the biblical new birth is the basis of the accusation. But if you separate initial and final salvation from the Christian life, there is no connection between anything you do and an active salvation. Likewise, nothing you do in accordance to the law has any bearing on your state of being because there is no law that judges you. Any motive for keeping the law for salvation purposes is non-existent; the only motive is love.
Yes, and then they would accuse you of promoting “salvation by works.” Nope, that is what they are doing with “salvation by faith.”
