Family has a kind of institution with the father being in charge. So what about like the patriarichal system of the Eastern patriarchs? Is it like a family?

A family is not driven by authority (per institutions); more so tradition. Proof? If your wife refuses to follow your leadership, what can you do about it? Nothing.
