Good luck with, Dee, Paul. As you know, I’m sure, she is completely devoted to orthodoxy. She means well, but is at root a hypocrite. Too bad.

By the way, this meme popped up on my FB newsfeed:

“So you don’t want to go to His house on earth, yet you expect to live in His mansion in heaven??”

Church = Salvation. Gotta go every week to get your “gospel” fix. Lol…but Justification isn’t progressive. Suuuure.

Someone took issue with my criticism of the meme. They wrote: Church is not a hotel for saints but a house for sinners.

Being saved has been reworked to mean no spiritual change whatsoever.

Run, don’t walk, away from the devil behind the pulpit.

Can you get me that meme or the screen shots of the exchange or both?

I couldn’t figure out how to cut and paste them into the text box so I messaged them to your phone…at least to the number I have for you.

If you didn’t get them I will try to share to your FB page.

Well, at least they didn’t call it a “hospital” for sinners. That was the mega church line. So, I am thinking, when do we get up out of our beds and walk?

Argo, that meme is guilt-tripping 101; it’s Calvin being channeled. So, no church attendance = no heaven? The truth is no attendance = no money, no people to sway control over, no hipster gatherings; no we-can-do-what-we-want-with-you; no indoctrination; no imagined authority.
And, while you’re sitting in the slaughterhouse called the church, have a bit of the false gospel too. It’s sickening.

Even in the fake-tanned Tullian’s statement, he is covering for himself by stressing it’s anti-Christian to remember only the scandalous. He’s the one who would often grace this, grace that, grace ad nauseam. He’s trying to come out a better worm, and he is failing miserably. Maybe he stressed grace all the time so much because he knew his time was coming to receive it from his dumb sheep. That also backfired. This guy is glib; he is like potty mouth and sex-on-the-brain Driscoll from a few years ago . . . two peas in the same p(l)ot.

Tullian is trying to make a comeback, isn’t he? Misses the stage. What else can these narcissistic guys do? Wade was a huge fan of Tullian’s message. But now that he is out of favor, the grace sort of faded. Lol.

His “house on earth”? Where is it? Has the Triune God not made His home inside of us when we were saved (past tense)? He tells us so in the Bible, or was he simply having us on? I don’t think so.
