“Home Fellowship funds NEED instead of infrastructure”

    This is an awesome articulation.

Today is truly a Day to Remember. For the first time ever my comment, which I include, was deleted on John Piper’s most recent FB post under heading “Rosaria Butterfield on why a wife should not leave her marriage for a woman. This is rich with wisdom for all.”

They deleted it within 2 minutes and when I reposted my comment they deleted it AGAIN within 2 minutes!

I think that today we just discovered their (institutional church) most vulnerable aspect. They’re AFRAID of being exposed for the LEGAL CORPORATION that they are.

Also my new plan of attack is to start posting my deleted comment on those people’s FB pages who appear to be infatuated with JP. Here is my comment:

“Even though you are a covenant member of a faithful church…”

While on the subject of MEMBERSHIP COVENANTS:

Bethlehem Baptist Church, formerly pastored by none other than John Piper includes the following in their “Church Covenant”, notice the last point – 6. It mentions “Relational Commitments” with an asterisk:

But the asterisk is not referenced and you have to do your own investigative work to find out that “Relational Commitments” is simply a veiled term for “Play By Our Rules because you’ve signed a legal contract”. I quote two sentences that reveal that the true nature of an >>institutional church<< is that of a >>legal corporation<< that will resort to worldly means in order to protects its own interests:

“We require our members to handle these misunderstandings in a Biblical way. This includes being willing to submit to legally binding arbitration rather than filing a lawsuit and also NOT ATTEMPTING TO REQUIRE A “SPIRITUAL COUNSELOR” TO APPEAR IN COURT OR TO PROVIDE HIS NOTES.” (page 2-12 & 2-13)

Wonderful comment that is packed with information! Yes, they are terrified by anyone who won’t succumb to their mind control. If exposed, the millions and billions could vanish and no more paid sabbaticals, conferences, and adoring fans.

The corporation is a worldly system that doesn’t operate like a family. Like Paul says about the Olive Garden, they advertise family, but everyone knows it’s a corporation. Sadly, this fact is hidden from institutional church-goers who are expecting unconditional love and acceptance, only to find they’ve joined the Rotary Club of Hotel California.
