God’s Philosophical Statement to Man Transcends the Need for Self-Appointed Mediators

“For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, ‘Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?’ Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, ‘Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?’ But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.”
~ Deuteronomy 30:11-14
There it is, from God Himself. And I don’t need a degree to understand it; I don’t need some highfalutin university piece of paper on my wall to share the biblical gospel with the LOST. And I certainly do not need some human fool trying to occupy to space between God and me. There’s but one mediator between us and God . . . Jesus Christ, who died once, and who saved me once. There’s no place for man’s foolishness in my life.
On the other hand, if you’re a Calvinist, Protestant, Reformed follower, you need man. Good luck with that.
