My nickname for him has been the “ratman”, just look at his profile! Now I wouldn’t be so shallow to mock someone’s appearance, but his sneaky rat-like ways also fit his MO.
Everytime I read his comments, I feel as though I must be tripping. Then you think of his material as seen through the lens of a lost person, and it makes you sick!
RM, I thought I was the only one who felt that way about “ratman.” My nickname/phrase (one of many, some of which I can’t repeat here) for MacArthur is “Lying-while-you’re-smiling.” Talk of being creepy.
RM, smiles; no, my reference to “ratman” as a MOUSE is because I’m currently referring to those into Calvinism/Reformed rubbish as MICE (morally, intellectually corrupt, and evil) instead of calling that thing a cul*.
But your observation is funny, regardless. I always wonder about his busy “hands” and his ongoing asinine references to all things sexually abnormal . . .
Also, what is this sexually perverted “man of God” (oh, please, look at all his sexual references over the years) trying to imply with “facing Jesus when you die”? If you’re a born-again believer, you already know Jesus as Christ now lives in you as He promises in the Bible (John 14:23). So, according to this, we already know Him and facing Him in the afterlife will be a joyous occasion and not a “facing” Him trembling-in-fear experience!
This false preacher and coworker with his father in darkness should zip it, and he should take his diabolical friends with him and put their evil doctrine (the MICE church doctrine) in a suitcase and disappear . . . for good.

He’s implying that there is only one judgement and if you don’t have “the righteousness of Christ” as your “covering” when you stand before the judge, you are going to face eternal damnation. Which is why I asked he question, WHICH judgment is he talking about since the Bema is for rewards and not for determining salvation. But his clever little post implies salvation.
I get it, Andy. I was ripping him off. As I’ve said before, being born-again the Biblical way is lost on MICE. As his post stands, he does not know where he stands and has never. He’s a hopin’ fool. (oops. . . did I say “fool”?)

Like all the MICE philosopher kings, he is trusting in the gnosis, the knowledge that he cannot know, and that knowledge alone is what makes him uniquely qualified to have authority over others and tell them what they must do. It’s more than confusion, it’s outright delusion! You are exactly right, he doesn’t know what he believes because he doesn’t actually believe it himself.
Come on guys. “Mystery” is profitable. Think of all the books he has written. And people actually buy them. That’s what I find so hard to believe. Double-speak and “profound” wins the day. I have no idea what the man just said or what it means, but gosh darn, it was deep. Deep I tell you. The world has gone mad. Mad, I tell you.
Susan, I’m laughing myself into another zip code. Another zip code, I tell you. Ratman’s words are indeed profound; I can’t wait for the DVD.
Of course, the world has gone mad.
Piper. Reality is a foreign concept to him. And sense. And reason. And the New Birth. What a MOUSE.
This dude is an embarrassment. Period.
