This is timely, because Rush Limbaugh said just yesterday on his show, as he was quoting from an article, that the majority of people thing “situationally” and not “ideologically”. He was using this as a basis for why Trump is so popular with so many people, because he is meeting them where they are right now – the base of that pyramid. Anyone who can resonate with people at that base level will have mass appeal. And as you point out, in the hands of the wrong person, this is a potential path to slavery.

I noticed that the pyramid is all centered on man and his needs, rather than God and his will. It is refreshing to see this pointed out, when so much activity in the institutional church is actually serving self under the guise of serving God.

Or, stated another way, the needs God created within man. It provokes thought; does God not offer to fulfill every one of these needs?
