Acts Lesson 57
Tuesday Night Bible Study – Now LIVE on Blogtalk Radio!
Lesson 57 – June 30, 2015 (Click here to listen)
Tonight we will examine Paul’s address to the people in Jerusalem as he gives his first-hand account of his conversion on the road to Damascus.
Acts 21:40 – 22:24
Hi, just want to say that I joined your study about two weeks ago, and am so excited that I can hardly stand it. To be studying Acts, which is my favorite NT book, with other believers, who have freed themselves from what they were taught by men in suits, and who are without a Calvinist bias…a dream come true for me, and something I have wanted for a long time. I am way behind, only on the fourth lesson, but loving it so far. Going through a very hard time right now, and these studies are definite bright spots in my week, helping me get through life and stay focused.

Oasis,
I am so pleased that the study is a blessing to you. I am humbled by your kind words. I am sorry to hear about the hard time you are going through right now, but know this, that this is the purpose God had intended for the Body of Christ: that when one member hurts, the whole body hurts. Much like when you hit your thumb with a hammer, you immediately wrap your hand around the hurting member. I trust that you will regard Paul and Susan and Pearl and myself and everyone else who visits here in much the same respect as we seek to wrap those hurting members in love and strive to exhort and encourage you to good works and build you up in the Word, to equip you to go out and fulfill your mandate to make learners (disciples)

Wow! Thanks for such sweet and comforting words, Andy! What you describe about the Body of Christ is incredible!
Pearl, great to know others feel the same way! Know what you mean, but you tempt me to catch the next one live, too. Maybe I will, at least once, hmm… 🙂

Yes, please know that I appreciate your input so very much in this study, Andy. I needed to add this just in case it was not accurately expressed. Thank you, and thanks to all who also add their input. 🙂
