What God Does in Protestant Progressive Justification

There was a meme in my Facebook news feed that caught my eye this morning.  I felt compelled to make some corrections to it.  If you still don’t believe that Protestantism teaches progressive justification, think again.

It is this same theological interpretation that allows a pedophile and sex addict to be allowed back into the graces of a church fellowship while the victimized wife is treated as the offender. Because once he confesses, his sin is counted to Christ and there is no condemnation. Once again, no distinction is made between condemnation and consequences. It’s all the same. We’re all just filthy sinners, and recognizing our sin just makes the “cross story” bigger!

Counting and keeping score. What a great catch! So I guess if the pros outweigh the cons you’re in. Even better if the elders like you. That’s gotta be worth a few points in the plus column.
