“… lead me all the way to Calvary, and I’ll only follow You.” Thanks be to abba. “Jesus called the great mystery he experienced in his life ‘abba’… the Greeks translated abba to mean ‘father’… abba has other meanings…in the words of a prophet all possible meanings [of the word… of rhema] may be present… ‘abba’ can mean parent, ancestor, or founder [and is based on a root] which points to all movements [in nature or in the cosmos] that seek to complete themselves or find an end…. This root also helps form the root of the words for love in Hebrew and Aramaic. [As] used in the Lord’s Prayer, it can refer to parenting in the cosmic sense… which is beyond gender… and indicates a process… that begins in unity and gives birth… to new forms.” FWIW

Gary,
Here at PPT, we are grammatical-historical Christians. This comes from the perspective that all people are able to ascertain the reality we live in through empirical study. We believe that all knowledge comes from exegetical observation, and we reject all eisegetical presuppositions that come from “secret knowledge” or knowledge that bypasses any kind of knowledge meant for general consumption.
Here at PPT, we reject all allegory that is not plainly qualified as allegory in the grammatical sense of the text. An example would be Galatians 4:24.
Though it is our policy to hear other views, we do not allow hearing to become a shared platform for the proffering of contrary views.
Adjust your future comments accordingly.

Gary,
The Bible clearly states what the mystery of the gospel is in no uncertain terms. Godliness is no mystery. Such commentary is therefore definitely beyond the scope of this blog.
