I may have misunderstood your point but, good works are not what a person must do to be saved.
“But to him that WORKETH NOT, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness” (Rom. 4:5). Good works are what a saved person does. “This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works” (Titus 3:8).

      Frank,

Your very statement fuses justification together with sanctification and makes works in sanctification the same thing as works for justification. It also makes fulfillment of the law of sin and death the same thing as fulfillment of the law of the Spirit of life which keeps “Christians” under the law with Christ fulfilling the law for them if they keep themselves saved by living the Christian life by faith alone. This also posits the idea that there is life in the law for justification because Christ keeps it for us, and thereby circumvents the “Christian” from loving God by obeying the law of the Spirit of life. It also posits the idea that there are two seeds that can give life for justification: Christ and the law.

      You believe a false gospel.
