debra, they are all trying to be John Piperesque in tweetdom. It is becoming rather hilarious all the empty platitudes and bizarre non points that make no sense. And Piper’s tweets are down right bizarre! He needs a tweet intervention. Somebody take away his twitter account before he tweets again!!!

Before Pearl speaks for herself which she is able to do just fine, I am going to put my own 2 cents in: Yes, the concept is the problem. No, we don’t want any replacement creeds, confessions etc., those are part and parcel with spiritual caste systems. The very concept implies that the saints need a “simpler” truth to understated in order to function on a lower metaphysical level. Orthodoxy is dignified mythology. It also implies mediators other than Christ which is what spawned spiritual caste in the first place.
