Actually, I think it was John Piper who insinuated that. Ya, this is part of the problem; it’s so bizarre that people don’t want to deal with the reality of it. It’s easier to believe that you didn’t see the UFO and live life business as usual. Susan is being blown away by her Puritan research in preparation for the conference. Now she understands what I have been saying for months: the Puritans believed that this present life is a meta-narrative written by God. All of the narrative is predetermined, like all narratives, and all of the plot is created by God and for His glory which includes the evil, the salvation, and the damnation. God only loves Himself, and man is nothing but fodder for purposes of His own glory.
