    Paul,

Not only did it make sense, but it was a brilliant translation of their false doctrine.

    Very well done.

      Argo,
Thanks, and thanks also for the link, we are having it transcribed as it is a treasure trove of information.

Yeah. I thought you’d enjoy that. That guy minced no words. There is NO room for humanity in that sermon. That was the scary thing. But notice how earnest he sounds, how loving and benevolent. Truly the devil comes as an angel of light.

And notice how he makes it sound like he is big on duty and obedience–until you pay close attention to what he is saying. It’s deliberate deception.

Paul, that was deliberate deception and this is why I despise the doctrines of Calvinism. Calvinism is disguised as being “saved by grace and no works” but look behind the curtain and it is another story.

Half the work that is done in the world is to make things appear what they are not.

Guys, I hear this stuff all the time in snippets here and there. They are usually not consistent in “practicing” as they don’t give folks who don’t agree with them a pass as “already approved”. Nope, they are LOST.

. I have questioned them on some of these statements about sin and they start backtracking saying that I misunderstood them, etc.

This stuff cannot stand under scrutiny. It is just that most folks are intimidated to question them. They have been trained well in the collective.

They don’t do well when they have to interact. That is why they need power and control over people so they are not challenged and can just preach what they want on stage and sow confusion and chaos in people’s lives.

BTW: This is not that different from what the shallow seekers taught folks: Jesus hung on the cross for your sins so no big deal that sinning thing. We call them “mistakes”.

I would like to know what exactly this preacher thinks Jesus meant when “He” told a woman to “go and sin no more?” Jesus didn’t say, “I will accomplish it for you, or I have already lived a perfect life so you don’t need to stop sinning . . . just gaze on me.”

^winner winner chicken dinner! Best comment!

Being Christ-centered and focused on Him is one thing. It is “his energy” as the Apostle says that gives us power to help with our daily sin struggles. We could not “go and sin no more” with our focus off of Christ. But this is completely different from the “let go and let God” we hear so much.

We have everything we need for life and godliness in Christ (reading and meditating on His word). But we actually have to do it… choices…

      Anon,

Christ didn’t say to focus on Him. He said to focus on “what I SAY.” Nor did Christ ever say to “meditate” on His word. We are specifically to read, learn, study, and DO.

Meditation is biblical. “His delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law doth he meditate day and night”.

Biblical meditation IS reading, learning, studying, doing, not the eastern mystical definition of “meditation”. “Focusing on Christ” is not passive but active and is focusing on His commands and example and DOING.

Maybe I shouldn’t use those terms but used properly they are biblical. Perhaps I need to come up with new terminology since these terms have been so corrupted…

      Anon,

Exactly correct. “Meditation” in our day has come to mean, “gospel contemplationism.” I have intentionally chosen other biblical words instead such as what Mary did–she “‘pondered’ these things.” Unfortunate, but reality nonetheless.
