    Hi Jay,

I think I found the comment you are talking about in the SPAM. Whenever you send a comment via email that includes a link, it doesn’t make it past the wordpress spam filter. The same thing happened to PDuggie. Glad you dropped me a line on this because I never check the spam file. But also, I am only seeing email addresses in my administrator, and not publicly on the site. So, I think your ok. I am going to pass your comment through spam so it will appear where you posted it, but I will make sure your email address is not published, that wouldn’t be good.

    Hi Paul:

Over the years, as I came into contact with the fruit of these men’s ministries, something didn’t “smell right”. One thing that struck me, since God had led me out of false teaching/false profession into the truth, by grace alone, and into the works of men like Bunyan, Goodwin, Edwards, Ryle, Mueller, was that while these men were fond of quoting such men and their works, they don’t live like them.

Some things I always noticed was a love of money (covetousness), and various other forms of “anomia”. This was striking, as in my case, when the Lord saved me he wrote the Law in my heart, and made me echo in my heart with the Psalmist “oh how I love thy Law”, and this inspite of 15 years of vehement anti-law preaching. I had no idea what was going on at first, until I read the scriptures and the doctrines began to congeal. Bunyan’s “Doctrine of The Law and Grace Unfolded” was especially used of the Spirit in this regard.

And, of course the Lord said, in a sort of summary statement on Matt 24 that Lawlessness would characterize this time of which He spoke as the time of the end. It is no surprise then that these men, in one form or another, are antinomian, without the law, make void the law, nay, “For the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to are not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can be”.

How telling is that verse in the context of what you have spoken of in these matters, it is a fearful verse to those who believe God and tremble at his Word.

May we all take heed and what and pray, lest we to are overcome.

The deception and delusion will be, and is, supernaturally driven, where men will have a form of godliness, but will deny the power thereof, where, “if it were possible, even the very elect” will be decieived. Satan’s powers of deception are incredible and any who do not “watch and pray, and take heed” lest they too be swept away as warned of in God’s Holy Word are in danger.

      Gerry,

I don’t think you meant to post your excellent comment on the banner. Could you repost it (copy and paste) to the intended post? Your comment is very instructive as I am preparing a sermon on Matthew 7:21,22.

Perhaps you might consider changing the name of your blog to “Paul’s Passing Gas” . . . because it appears that most of the foul, hot-air that you produce here is being blown out yer ass.

    Paul,

Please be bold and answer this question with at least a yes or no interpretation.

If a 5 Point Calvinist “Baptist” Preacher accepts the call (and Monetary support) from a “Baptist” Congregation (or any Congregation) that he believes isn’t a Calvinistic Church and he won’t disclose his Doctrine while trying to indoctrinate them with “TULIP” behind the Pulpit, is this form of dishonesty, SINFUL?

When he was found out 2 years into his tenure he only wanted to know who discovered he was a Calvinist, then he tried to have TULIP class, when his credibility was in jeopardy he resigned.

    In Jesus

      David Mark,

In other words, he had an agenda that the congregation was unaware of. What’s worse, it was probably a Calvinist dominion agenda. YES–SINFUL, with a capital “S.”

    mark,

i would also agree that this ‘pastor’ who accepted a ‘call’ to a non-calvinist church was Intentionally Deceptive. That’s a long form of “He Lied, Truth Died”
i would even go so far as to post an Open Warning on the church’s website (if they have one) about this man’s unbiblical, dishonest and ‘unchristian’ conduct explaining to the whole church what happened and why… as well as warning other churches and christians in general about this non-christian ‘pastor’.
