The James MacDonald White Paper: HBC Attempts to Expunge Infamous Church Discipline Video, Files Complaint Against PPT; Post 10 of 20

Posted in Uncategorized by Paul M. Dohse Sr. on October 2, 2013

Oligarchy LogoHarvest Bible Chapel has filed a complaint against PPT with YouTube claiming copyright infringement. The complaint concerns the infamous, and haughty video by James MacDonald and four of his elders. The Elephant’s Debt .com reported on the video here.

The validity of the complaint is very questionable, crippled PPT’s media operations yesterday (and continues to do so), and the information is being forwarded to our attorney. As far as we can ascertain at this time, the video was a public statement/announcement and not covered under copyright laws.

YouTube has a zero tolerance policy on filing false infringement complaints, but HBC uses Vimeo and would have little to lose in that regard. Furthermore, and also against civil law/You Tube policy, it would appear that the complaint was filed anonymously on behalf of HBC.

The video and the post have been pulled down from the HBC website. The complaint against PPT was filed after this took place, so it would appear that HBC wants to eliminate any documentation of the video. The question of whether or not an unpublished press release is covered under copyright laws will also be presented to our attorney. PPT has a standalone file of the video which slanders two former elders of HBC in a process that was blatantly unbiblical. Also, in the video, James MacDonald claims that the HBC elders speak for God Himself.

So, can that be copyrighted? How is that their own intellectual property? Legally, by James MacDonald’s own claims, can anything coming out of HBC be copyrighted? Are they not plainly stating that it is not their own intellectual property?

This is just downright hilarious!!! Can it get any better than this? Will the blind masses giving him money figure it out?

I would buy tickets to watch this one in court if it ever got there. Think of it! They claim on the video they speak for God….YET, the video is “their” intellectual property. Is there any position that SCREAMS “Philosopher King” as in Platonic thought more than this?

I hope more will connect the dots that they are saying “God” is their “intellectual property”.

This is the caste system at its most ridiculous. They are the spokesmen/ mediators for Christ on earth. What a sham.

BTW: I knew it was a matter of time before they had to get that vid off the market. It is funny how when their ghetto thinking gets outside the ghetto, it looks pretty ridiculous. The thing that scares me the most about this whole situation is not JMAC or his bobblehead elders but the masses that think these guys are legit! Now that is scary.

Also, Julie Ann has a transcript of the video.

Kick blind obedience & naivety out the door. I am outraged. Don’t they understand these actions against people like you, that hurt your website (hurting your media operations) & cause you to have to retain legal representation, only serve to galvanize & open the eyes of Christians who may have been on the fence about JM? There ARE Christians who are resolved to good actions, who love good with all their heart. To be sure, there are loving Christians who think for themselves & are intelligent, Biblical, & will stand up to wrong each time the show-down for whether we stand up for truth or not occurs. Troubling this is happening frequently WITHIN Christianity!

They appear to THINK they are God. They certainly don’t seem Jesus-like! The Bible does not encourage us to follow men. Shame for frowning on Catholics who have priests, yet all the while some Christian churches fawn over their own rock-star preachers. Which is worse, church celebrities or church priests? The Bible has no room for either one. That’s the truth of how “sovereignly” big God REALLY is.

Paul, I am praying for you & Susan. You are far from alone! And you will be supported in this!

You need to put that video up on a filesharing site so that so many copies can be promulgated that they will never disappear completely.

    Lydia and A Mom,

    Excellent comments.

    Paul,

Par for the course, my friend. You are a threat. Wear it like a badge of honor.

And those bastards speak for no god at all.

This is unbelievable. What is wrong with these people? Does it not bother him at all that he is behaving exactly like Jan and Paul Crouch, Benny Hinn, and Ergun Caner?

by the way they don’t seem to have ANY problem with the thousands of other videos of James Macdonald that others have put up.

And seriously, bloggers are going to have to start putting this incriminating stuff up on bit torrent or someplace else where they can’t frivolously be yanked.
