    … and Calvinists are always referring to Calvin, Luther and JI Packer et.al. when looking for support for their unbiblical doctrines. Cults will always minimize the Words of God and Maximize the Words of men. once again, great article.

    I use the label Christian first. Because yes it is enough. That doesn’t mean that lalbes should not be used for the sake of Biblical views, etc. Shouldn’t it be enough for the Methodist or Presbyterians to use the label Christian? Of course, but their views differ, so in that regard there has to be some sort of different label or distiction. I don’t agree with the last statement The Reformation stood for something that we cannot move past No doubt it’s over, at least the event, but we still need those precepts, the five solas,etc, of reforming in general And the label reformed just so happens to encompass (for the most part) what I believe as a Calvinist, or vise versa. Are their heritics who are reformed , yeah, but their are also Christians who are heritics
