I just came across this blog after listening to another one of Paul Washers sermons. I have listened to many over the years and I can tell you most assuredly, you are dead wrong about Paul Washer. I agree with EVERYTHING he preaches and I also agree with what Suzy and Carlton said. I do not agree because I like Paul Washers smile or I like the name Suzy and Carlton. I agree because what Paul Washers preaching IS 100% biblical. Man IS totally depraved in every way. Paul Washer has said many many times he does NOT believe in a works salvation. Paul you really need to sit under more of Paul Washers preaching/teaching if you want to pick him apart the way you do. I think your problem is you worry too much about being “intellectual”. It is as simple as this without having to use big words and labels. Read your bible and pray. Listen to good preachers/teachers then check them with the word of God. None of us are perfect. But stop spending all your time trying to judge men who are out there in the trenches winning souls for Christ and doing the Lords work.

The evidence presented in the book is irrefutable. When you fuse justification and sanctification together–EVERYTHING is a work for salvation.
