Paul's Passing Thoughts

Well, Pastors Won’t Preach It so…..[Video pulled down.]

Posted in Uncategorized by Paul M. Dohse Sr. on September 3, 2011

OK!, OK! I REPENT! A REALLY BAD IDEA TO MAKE A POINT. GEEZ, AT LEAST SHE DOESN’T PREACH THAT WE HAVE TO REPENT OF GOOD WORKS IN ORDER TO BE SAVED! BUT HEY–VERY ENCOURAGING TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE STILL SOME STANDARDS OUT THERE!

PS,

Did anybody contact her according to Matthew 18 before these comments were made? JUST KIDDING, JUST KIDDING!

Incredible! This is really a prophetic insight and application for our day. Proof that God can raise up the most unsuspecting people to proclaim what needs to be said. There’s more truth here than 10 New Calvinist sermons put together. This little gal puts to shame most U.S. pastors today who are self feeders and don’t guard the flock. She’s merely telling what it says. It’s not that complicated, the self seeking motives just have to be put to death.

Paul, I don’t think i would take my theological ques from a woman who calls the Holy Spirit a “she” denies the Trinity and says that Jesus had a beginning and that if you believe in the masculinity of the Trinity then you believe in a homosexual God.

Tim, Then very well, who do you suggest that has intestinal fortitude and doesn’t have a position or money to loose?

Paul, I really don’t think we would agree on who to listen to but I know that Monica Dennington should be one lady that we both agree on we should not listen to!

Tim, Lighten up, I mean after all, we have the who’s who of Reformed theology teaching that Christ was actually damned by God as part of the atonement, the total depravity of the saints, and whatever else these guys come up with next week as Christians wait with bated breath.

Gee, I hope everyone sees the humor here. Hope everyone doesn’t run off and become a staunch follower of Amy. I don’t think this was a promotional ad. From the comments above, it sounds like Amy may be a heretic. I don’t know. I’ve never heard of Amy before. Still, the Bible verses she brings up and application for today has value. This is so rare! Nobody else, esp. pastors, are going to ever publically make these comments even though there is valuable warning and truth behind it! A great example of a “nobody” saying what’s right.

    Paul,

I didn’t hear much “that Christ was actually damned by God as part of the atonement” from my circles. However, thinking about it, that teaching implies that the “Immutability” (unchangeableness) of the Truine God is false. To say that Christ was separated from the Trinity would mean that the Unity and Trinity itself did not exist at one time. In other words, it’s saying that the One God, the Triune God is not eternal. This is very Non-Trinitarian and heretical.

No doubt, the atonement is loaded with mystery. Nevertheless, the Oneness and Unity continued through the atonement. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. The Triune God always was, is, and always will be One God in three persons.

What on earth is the “masculinity” of the Trinity?

Yes, Jesus Christ came to us as a male but what does his maleness have to do with salvation or sanctification? If it is important then how can I, a woman, be ever hope to be “Christlike”?

      Lydia,

No clue. I am still savoring her one sermon. As far as her other messages, well, it might mean she can’t be the hero I need to replace John MacArthur.

The reason no reputable pastor says the things she does is because she is a heretic and a nut 🙂 Paul, I’ll try to lighten up and if you could supply info (names, reference of works) on those who are teaching that Christ was damned as a part of the atonement, I would love to check it out. I’ve never heard that and I would love to check it out for sure. Thanks.

      Tim,

Sigh. Please Tim, words mean things. Ok, Google “CJ Mahaney Christ was damned,” and I mean, there is like a gazillion references. Tim, if you want to follow the crowd and partake in Gospel Contemplationism because everybody is doin’ it–go ahead, but I don’t recommend it. Throughout biblical history, the lovers of God’s truth have been in the minority.
