I am so desperate to meet people, especially like-minded believers, that I cracked and started looking around and investigating local churches. Told myself that believers are not going to appear at my doorstep…I have to go to them, to where they might be. “Maybe some there are like me, unable to find others of their kind anywhere else.”
Without ever even visiting any of these places, what I find is enough to spin me around in the other direction. Too bad, I actually had hope.
