    THANK YOU. The “95 Theses” were garbage. I never understood why anyone with a Bible, would get excited about the “95 Theses”. But it goes to show, Groupthink is alive and well.

      It’s not about if you happen to agree with Luther’s thesis, it’s that he was brave enough to speak up against the Roman Catholic church. Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin, John Knox, Thomas Cranmer, Nicolas Ridley, and John Wesley all did the same. Did they all agree, no. The importance of the reformation is that these protestors spoke out against the ‘groupthink’ of the church.

        Oh, I see. So the fact that he was a heretic is irrelevant. What matters is that he stood up to the catholics. Thank you for clarifying that.

        “Did they all agree, no.” Well, actually, they did agree. They all agreed that salvation is a process that can only begin and end under the authority of church membership.
