If folks are nott convinced they need to be very wary of any church, just go and read the comments on this blog. Are most of them pastors? wannabe pastors? Seminarians?
And I always get a kick out of the ubiquitious commenter that always rings in to ask smugly if the blogger has contacted the celebrity Christian being critiqued first before writing the post. These little minions are everywhere in the Christian blogosphere. This is simply ignorance on steriods. I think they are taught this…a form of censoring using fake piety.
As if a celebrity Christian minister who has sermons online, blogs and writes books should not have his very public teaching analyzed publicly. As if one who makes his living communicating to the masses does not mean what he says or writes? Give me a break.
