When Are We Going to Learn? It’s NOT About the Sheep
A well documented chorus of outcries against CJ Mahaney echoed throughout the church for years. While dismissing the complaints out of hand, MacArthur, Mohler, Duncan, Sproul, and many other Reformed leaders granted CJ full credibility and spared no expense in defending him. In the following video, and in total disregard for the truth, Al Mohler and John Bettler heap praises on their fellow pastor-buddy, CJ Mahaney.

Sorry to keep asking you for links, but I’d be interested to hear/read Sproul defending/praising Mahaney. I’ve heard that Mahaney once made such a fool of himself at a Ligonier conference that he was not asked back.

Sproul is the only one on the list that doesn’t, as far as I know, expend a specific statement praising Mahaney. But surely, his participation together with Mahaney in several conferences makes Sproul guilty of lending credibility. Let’s farce it: Sproul would’t be caught dead doing a conference with Joel Osteen. No?

So why the silence from Mohler now after lawsuit is known? Where is his defense of Mahaney like he gave to a reporter after Mahaney had to step down last year….blaming the bloggers for not like his “firm leadership”?
Do you think Mohler approves of SGM pastors making 3 year olds face their molester and forgive him because he said “sorry”?

Yes, in fact, knowing that theology, I do believe he approves. But he can’t admit it because most Christians are not “ready” for the full truth of the “unadjusted, “underestimated” gospel. They are a bunch of spiritual elitists leading as many senseless totally depraved lambs to glory as they can. And in their minds, the end justifies the means.
