At my age I still need someone to take care of me and teach me???

And wipe my bottom and change my diaper too, I suppose.

Socialism infantilizes all ages. Like the Church. the Socialist State is founded upon the idea that metaphysically, you’re a constant child. For if you could ever think and do for yourself, then you’d be obliged to leave home. But then what would Mother have to do?

  I might add that in my line of work there is this mentality that the elderly “become children again.” And they are treated as such. A pity that it is actually fun to treat the residents as equal peers and watch the reactions from the nurses and other aides…I think they think that I need to be a resident also.

    At the Audiology and ENT clinic location where I worked in NC I did 40% of the hearing aid business out of five offices with the very same approach, Paul. It’s amazing how good it makes adults feel to be treated like adults.

    Thank you! I saw my mom model this when I was young. Never do for the elderly what they can do —albeit slowly! It’s a matter of respect as they are adults many of whom overcame obstacles we can’t fathom.

Kamala is another example of how “feminism” has totally regressed. She made her way up the political ladder as the mistress to the married Willy Brown. It wasn’t a secret. He even wrote about it recently so it would be “old news” in a week. But that’s just part of the regression away from an “earned position”.I am supposed to vote for women who position themselves as oppressed victims and “deserve” position for being a women or for their skin color. Real competence as in a meritocracy is “mean”, I support. After all, it was Hillarys turn. They are an embarrassment. They don’t earn anything. They use their gender and skin color to demand and paint anyone non conforming to their thought policing as evil or Nazis.

I have gotten a kick out of black protestors against Kamala because she put some blacks in prison as a prosecutor in Calif.
