I am also confused by pro Calvin/Luther Protestants who support Israel. But they are becoming fewer and fewer. It’s been rather shocking they don’t support the parliamentary govt of Irsrael in the ME. They do love their government tyrants but claim to hate authoritarian churches. I don’t get it. Church is voluntary. Govt isn’t.

I tend to give Ben the benefit of the doubt because i find his political commentary pretty good most of the time. However Ben is exactly clueless when it comes to historic Christianity. Or maybe i should say he believes the ongoing mythology that America is the byproduct of “Judeo Christian Values” ergo Christianity gets a pass on critical review. which is bizarre considering Christians did his Jewish people such great ongoing and recidivistic harm. But this is how powerful the modern mythology is . . . it takes an otherwise very intelligent very rational mind and reduces it to mush.

I am not convinced Ben buys into the idea of “self rule” and instead affirms the false narrative of “selfishness” connected to self rule. I picked up on it a bit here and there a few years ago. It’s hard to see with his focus on free speech and Judeo Christian values. But I do fear he is on board with establishment social engineering. It’s hard to tell with pundits. They tend to nuance depending on their benefactors.

Paul, I thought Julianne blocked you on twitter for disagreeing? Seems her pious virtue signaling is a one way street and she doesn’t understand that many merge the political, philosophical and theological whether they realize it or not. Jesus is a refugee, right? Lol.

“Dee – this is such a good post. It’s important to talk about this. The political divide in Christianity is so destructive. If someone is not able to maintain relationships because of political differences, I think there is a serious heart issue with that person. It reminds me of the Pharisees who put the law before relationship with Christ. Christ certainly was not pleased.”

Julie Anne is one of those Pharisees who can’t handle disagreement on due process so she blocks and bans while promoting Boz who covers for pedophile protecting organizations. #believeallwomen, right? No due process. No presumption of innocence. That’s their “nice” America. So does Dee, who is now the sole arbiter of “tone”, totalitarian niceness and shame censoring with her loyal followers, just like the pastors they claim to despise. Lol. Perhaps her former partner came to the conclusion they were not that much different in fake niceness and shame censoring practices than those they wrote about?

I have yet to see a “Christian victim” focused blog that didn’t eventually devolve into utter groupthink and becoming what they claimed they despised about church. It’s uncanny! Doesn’t help victims much, but everyone else gets to feel morally superior and virtuous. Just like church! Good riddance to the sin sniffing Puritanesque elites. The victims would be better served with training on the gun range than all the pious sounding words. But that isn’t “nice” to say. Lol.
