“4. “Grenz and Franke argue that the Spirit of God speaks through
Scripture, tradition, and culture, and theologians must seek to hear the
voice of the Spirit in each one. Moreover, since culture is constantly in
flux, they say, it is right and fitting for Christian theology to be in a
perpetual state of transition and ferment too. No issue should ever be
regarded as finally settled” (page 19).”

I guess according to these folks), we can throw our Bibles out the window and simply “study the culture”. Theologians don’t study the Bible according to these folks. They, what?? Turn on the news?? Go down to the local pub?? Study the culture?? So… really it’s the WORLD these folks study to “know truth”??

I believe the BIBLE reveals TRUTH and JESUS is the TRUTH revealed by the Bible.

So, how do we “test the spirits to know if they are of God” according to these folks?? Take a poll and see what the culture says?? So culture is God — not Jesus?? I could puke. Men who want to discard Jesus and the Bible — so they can say whatever they think and feel and believe is “truth” — and they themselves are thus God.

    Psychobabble.
